PTH Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Printing Press Operator for the Clinical Cell department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience working with printing, bindery, and finishing equipment.

This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a technically skilled individual who is committed to quality, workplace safety, and efficient production. Training will be provided on the day shift, and the successful candidate must be available to transition to the night shift after completing training.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and monitor printing press, bindery, and finishing equipment.

• Ensure production runs efficiently and finished products meet quality standards.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform adjustments as required.

• Conduct quality checks and follow established production procedures.

• Follow all health, safety, and quality requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

• Assist in developing and improving departmental processes, production controls, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production efficiency and product quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving printing, bindery, and finishing equipment.

• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.

• Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Safety-conscious with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

• A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to support process enhancements.

Equipment Experience

Experience with the following equipment is an asset. Equipment assignments may vary depending on production requirements.

• Heidelberg Versafire LP Press

• C14000

• Booklet Contour Laser Cutter

• Smart Binder SB-3

• Booklet Laser Cutter

Training and Shift Requirements

• Training will be provided on the day shift.

• Must be willing and available to transition to the night shift after training.

• Must be flexible to meet production and scheduling requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmaceutical or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment is considered an asset.

• Experience following documented procedures and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
