Responsibilities:
– Maintenance of equipment
– Troubleshooting of equipment repairs
– Liaise with equipment suppliers/OEM’s, contractors
– Operate forklift, scissor lift, lifting devices
– Ad hoc groundskeeping, minor facility repair, general plant cleanliness
– Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety protocols.
– Perform other duties as required
Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:
– Strong Safety mindset
– Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
-Mechanical Aptitude
-Forklift, scissor lift, lifting device experiences will be considered assets
-Electrical certification- 309A or 442A is strongly preferred
-Plumbing experience is an asset
– Knowledge of MS Office
– Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
-Must be comfortable working at heights up to 15-20 feet
– Must be able to lift, and/or move, up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and or move more than 100 pounds.
– Ability to work flexible hours as needed
